A different way to prepare cows for calcium demand
X-Zelit is a pre-calving transition feed used in the close-up period. Its role is to help prepare the cow’s natural calcium mobilisation system before the sudden calcium demand created by colostrum and milk production.
Rather than waiting until calcium demand has already arrived, X-Zelit works through the dietary phosphorus pathway before calving. It is intended to be used within a properly balanced transition ration and stopped at calving in accordance with the feeding directions.
